What would Internet Marketing be WITHOUT a Shopping Cart?
You have goods to sell, you have a web site to sell through, and all you need to complete the picture is a Shopping Cart!
According to Wiki:
“Shopping cart systems: Simple systems allow the offline administration of products and categories. The shop is then generated as HTML files and graphics that can be uploaded to a webspace.”
Sounds simple enough; but when it gets to actually implementing that system; a lot of work is ahead! If you tried Shopping Cart software before, you would know that it takes a steep learning curve, and even the Free ones require a lot of steps to set up Shop.
Enter WordPress Shopping Cart Plugins:
Those plugins combine the security, stability and flexibility of wordpress, with the features and designs of an ecommerce store front. They might not be as complicated as OScom or Zen for an example; but they give you a viable solution to start selling online, and since the checkout process is handled by a Payment Gateway such as PayPal, your customers financial information is taken care off at PayPal cloud itself; which satisfies any online shopper concern about your Shop’s Security.
And although all of those plugins will give you a Basic , Stand-Alone Shopping Cart; I would recommend spending the money on upgrading to the Full Version to use all the features in them, you have to spend money to make money… Marketing 101!
